From their kitchen based in Perivale, London Mr Duck distribute to selected fine food delis and retailers in London including Lidgates Butcher, Raoul’s, Le Pascalou, Fortnum & Mason, Partridges and Selfridges as well as the products being available online for home delivery, nationwide.
All Mr Duck’s products are made exclusively from Mulard ducks that are reared in the Landes or Vendee region of France, where they are free range and 100% naturally fed, using neither animal flour nor GM food. It took Mr Duck a long time to choose a supplier who was both able to provide the best quality ducks and committed to an environmentally-friendly approach making no compromises with regards to the welfare of the animals.
Mr Duck produces excellent confit duck, rillettes, smoked breast and three types of terrine, as well as products include Foie Gras with various additions like Remy Martin XO Cognac or layered with seasonal truffles; Rillettes made to traditional French family recipes, Smoked Duck Breast and Duck Gizzards Confit. The Confit duck is an adaptation of Maieli’s family recipe. The legs are first cured using Corsican salt and a secret blend of herbs, then slow-cooked in a vat of duck fat and finally sealed in Vac Pac – the best way to keep the flesh moist.
Mr Duck is multi award winning and proud to have been awarded the highest Great Taste Award “3 Gold Stars” accolade along with the Golden Fork Award for their Duck Gizzards Confit. Their Duck Leg Confit was awarded a Great Taste Award 2 Gold Stars. Other GTA “Gold Star” winning products in their range include Foie Gras “Prestige”, Duck Rillette and Smoked Duck Breast. Of the highest quality, Mr Ducks products have received 36 of the Industry’s most prestigious awards over the last ten years. Other products available include Truffles, Duck fat and stock as well as a selection of Hampers.
Mr Duck also has a range of wines, available for online delivery. Perfect for festive celebrations the list includes wines from Burgundy such as Chambollle Musigny and Chassagne-Montrachet Caniere Blanc. Or from the Rhone Domaine la Barroche Chatueauneuf du Pape and from Bordeaux Bel Air Marquis D’Aligre.
